Known as the “Home of Golf,” centrally located Moore County burrowed in the North Carolina Sandhills, has many agritourism adventures and venues for you to discover. So, put down your golf clubs and come explore the seasonless farm-rich heritage awaiting for you in Moore County!

Fork to Farmer is an initiative of the NC Cooperative Extension and P1t Lab. It aims to entice the public to eat at local restaurants and visit the farms that supply them. This video highlights ostrich ranching at Misty Morning Ranch and their relationship with Ashten's Restaurant.

The Moore County Cooperative Extension service would like to thank the Pinehurst/Southern Pines/Aberdeen Area Convention and Visitors Bureau and Moore County dedicated volunteers who generously and graciously dedicated countless hours to corral and compile Moore County farm and agribusiness information. Their partnership and efforts made it possible to feature Moore County agriculture on the Visit NC Farms mobile app.
