STOKES COUNTY

Located in the North Central Region of North Carolina, Stokes County boasts some of the most beautiful and diversified farmland in our region. As a rural county, agriculture continues to be the top economic generator for the county. With over 850 farms, Stokes County offers a wide variety of fruits, specialty greens, vegetables, ornamental plants and flowers, locally raised meat and eggs, and even honey!

That’s not all - home to local breweries, wineries, farm stands, pick-your-own berry patches, and nurseries, Stokes County can be enjoyed by all. Also, depending on the season, be sure to visit a pumpkin patch and meander through a corn maze! Come enjoy a drive through the Sauratown Mountains or stop by Hanging Rock State Park and be sure to visit a local farm or two as you pass through.

Thank you to Stokes County Farm Bureau for a generous donation.
