Davie County lies in the heart of North Carolina’s Piedmont region, located in the Yadkin Valley American Viticultural Area (AVA), known for its vineyards and wineries.  Davie celebrates its rich history and agricultural heritage and remains mostly rural today.  With historic sites and tours, an assortment of parks and recreation facilities, and a collection of working family farms, there’s something for everyone.  Davie County is the kind of place where families still spend time together, neighbors are still neighborly and entrepreneurs still chase dreams.
